Description

I was outside with my 2-year-old son, Torin, playing with his sidewalk chalk when I saw some graffiti (an expletive) written on the side of our building and I then felt compelled to begin writing on the wall of our apt. building around our bedroom window. I started with "I hate cancer. We need a cure" on the windowsill (but you can't see it in the pic) followed by the pentacle and the words: "Protection, strength, perserverance, wisdom, oneness with the universe" Then I wrote: "Breast Cancer Kills, see your doctor, have faith" I had started to write "support hope springs" but I stopped and scratched it out because supporting any charity is worthwhile... Then I added the sun, heart and moon and followed that up with: "Maintain sanity with self-expression" I drew the crying eye next and added: "Feel your emotions" and "Know your true soul" Then I went back to the left and wrote: "Be yourself while you may and love yourself everyday" and I finished with: "Focus on your beliefs rather than on who does and who does not share them" The pic may look a lil odd because I tried to up the contrast to make the words more visible (writing is my thing, followed by amateur photography... tweaking pics is not my field) :)

As to the forum, why not? Works for me but then I'm sort of a rookie myself. After reading your bio the pic takes on more meaning. Welcome aboard, prayers for your mom.

This works for me too. I don't think there's a category for "perfomance photography", but ai really enjoy this. If I had to make one criricism, it would just be to comment that it's a bit large to take in at once on my monitor. I had to scroll around, and almost missed the child in the corner. It really added a sense of "fixed orientation" (not sure if that really makes sense) so it feels more immediate. Thank you for posting this.
