Description

Based on Foundation and Earth by Michael Whelan. I've done this before, but felt like redoing it, elevating Drac's Robbie to almost devine status. Or at least some future civilization thought enough of him to create huge statues of him. The nebula is from the web. Postwork in PS7. Just to clear it up. Asimov wrote Foundation and Earth, but for one print run, Michael Whelan was commissioned to do the cover work. Here's a link to the original. http://www.slawcio.com/foundation/founder.html Thanks for looking.

Asimov, Benford, Bear & Brin. Though I must say, naming the robot after one who's already famous seems like an attempt at stealing someone else's limelight. (Yes, I know it's the modeler who named the figure and not the artist of this image.) The stonework looks fantastic but I would have liked it better if you had used Bryce's Atmospheric settings rather than using the infamous Flare in post work. Yes, Bryce Atmopsheres take forever to render, but, man, what a difference they can make!

This is original, very well done and dramatic. The POV kills. Most excellent and a vote.
