The chipmunk is certainly stocking up on food but what is she accumulating? Memories, smell, feelings of being alive, the sounds of movement in the leaves and trees, the last bits of warmth for many months...Wonderful picture!

I love that background! Reminds me of when I would sit in the woods and watch the chipmunks scampter up alongside me, most likely wondering what I was staring at :) Excellent work.
