Description

Any description of Iceland will not be complete without Landmannalaugar in the highlands. Landmannalaugar has many geothermal pools which are a huge tourist atrraction. The multicoloured rhyolite mountains and the ubiquitous moss covered hills with volcanic rocks between them make a striking contrast.
