Description

Autumn is the great change of the season full of life to the season where life seems gone. Yesterday the weather was rainy but after a time it stopped raining. A little stroll in the backyard made me find this little guy, the european hedgehog (Erinaceus europeaus). Usually they appear after sunset but now it walked a bit around, and when I came too close it curled itself into a sphere of needles. But after a while it trusted me and I could make some shots of it. I have temporarily an old digital camera and I thought you'd like to see this little gardener! I love little hedgehogs! We don't have those in the desert! They're actually illegal to own here because they eat endangered bugs. Yeah, do we care about endangered bugs? Obviously somebody does!
