Just another struggling artist with a passion for 3D computer graphics. I was first inspired by the works of Jean Giraud (a.k.a. Moebius) of "Heavy Metal" fame, hence the tribute in my online moniker. My 3D CGI tool of choice is LightWave, but I have recently started mucking about with digital photography. Other tools include Vue Infinite and DAZ|Studio. I also work in Photoshop and CorelDraw to cover the 2D graphics stuff.
I don't have too much patience for setting up final renders, because my interests lie in modeling. "Non-organic" modeling, or "hard surface" modeling, in the sci-fi genre to be specific. So the bulk of the images in my gallery are modeling WIP's and design studies, the rest are photos and a few quick sketches. I consider myself a hobbyist, because I am still at a level where my skills definitely need a lot more improvement.
I'm an architect by training, and work as Studio Manager for an architectural/interiors design office. I was born, raised and educated in the Philippines, but am currently based in Bangkok, Thailand where I live my wife, "Kanittha", our son "Nio" and our cat "Samuel".
Thank you very much for looking up my page.

Wow that looks like an awesome peice of hardware mate! :D

Excellent work, as always! You should add reinforcements to the ends of the bipod to prevent it from slipping on the ground (simple rubbercups would do) and the carry grip should be a bit further to the front, because of weight distribution.
Django
Ahhhhhhhhh moe your eye for details can not be matched by anyone i know..damn good modeling
Ajax
Looks great, Moe :-)

WOW. very sweet!.I agree about the bipod legs. I think its the British that prefer a "sled runner" type bottom rest. prevents the gun from sinking and allows the weapon to be pushed or pulled to or fro without digging in. I dont knw about the handle. Until the gun is in production so that balance point and "feel" can be determined. I do have difficulty with style of the handle though. But its just me that I don't like something obscuring or cluttering my sight picture. Looks like lots of weight to control with rudimentary off-hand control surface. Wimps like me have a hard time controlling 19 pounds of bucking wildcats.

Thank you for all the feedback. I will be making the changes suggested accordingly. :o)

I'm not a weapons pro, but I like to look at them in blissful ignorance. lol q-: This looks very sleek, well shaped and deadly. I'll show this to my honey later=he knows more about this type of thing. Looks great to me! V (:

looks great moe :)

Its almost always a good idea to put some kind of pivit between the legs and the gun (just in case the enemy decides to attack from a direction other than straight down your barrel sites) Also, with the magazine that tall, it would be difficult to aim at anything higher than ground level unless you lift the gun off the ground, especially if you happen to be on a downward slope Easy fixes. Great lookin gun. talk to ya soon.

Goo solid design as usual Moe, looks like the kind of thing that won't let you own in a crisis.

I checked out the updated version: I think the modifications you made are perfect and the over all modeling is exceptional. I can't wait to see the UV map version as well.
amapitodd
Excellent design and creation.

Kate
good stuff as per usual Moe :)
Doublecrash
Great modeling!

I can't wait for this to be released. I'd love to see a whole series with a pistol, submachinegun, carbine, and a rifle to match. It would be sweet if the design leaned more towards the g36/xm8, but hey, your stuff is always awesome...
Modulok
Nice modeling, Moe. I love the details in your creations :)
petes
looks like your muse is workin' for ya ; ) nicely done my friend!
ElorOnceDark
Great work Moe! That Ammo case is huge!
Flak
Cool work Moe :) Flak throws away the gun he was trying to make in disgust
Dobbelcheese
Agreed, EOD.. I'd have guessed it's a machinegun. Sweet design.
