I love this line "if you dont like it you don't have to accept it, or even consider it instead you may attack it or attempt to smother it with more words" It's only through attacking it and smothering it that things ever get changed. Great piece. You paint such vivid images with your words!

I like the poem. It is curiously self referential, ironic, in the sense that it is with words that you question words. However, I share your sentiment about language.

Without words there would be no board game, scrabble. And, what would everyone do without 'gossip' to fill in those long days? Hug and love each other all day long instead? Superb piece, as usual. Instead of the blue towel, maybe next time you can wear some cool shades? WINK. "V"

"Why was humanity ever given speech?" From my understanding of it all, we as humans were not given speech but rather we found it or discovered it, (due to a need) as like that of fire I suppose. As like fire there are good that can become of it and not so good of course. Anyhow, sometime back when I desired a better understanding of where in particular the English language came from or how it all got started. I went in search of that information and discovered a wonderful read, which I thought I would share with you. A book called "The Mother Tongue - English & How It Got That Way by Bill Bryson" An excellent read and very educational. I am making mention of it here because if you have not read it, you might like it. As for the poem I don't know exactly what to say other then that of what "Waltonm" has commented as in it being ironic, although it is smooth creating a ease in the read as forces more thought, thank you.

I don't think you "suck" in photoshop as for the words I think again it all comes from how you feel within, what you are going through and having to face even maybe alone still once wonderful peace of writting I also agree on getting th words out not all can do it not all are willing to try *V wonderful

This has a sort of beatnik rhythym to it (or so I kinna felt when reading it)and I am so very beatnik. A very poignant piece.. one which makes u think. And how cute, your son a tiger hehee mines going as harry potter (oh how original LOL)
