I took this shot today through the span of the Gateshead Millennium Bridge.
To the left is the Baltic Centre, a stunning conversion of a 1950's flour mill, which now provides the biggest temporary art space in Europe.
Alongside on Gateshead Quays is a new development of apartments, which command magnificent views across the Millennium Bridge, and along the River Tyne.
