Description

Apologies fist...had my old 'puter crash last week and am currently running my internet on my OLD dinosaur which for some reason will not allow to me see ANY images posted here in the Galleries, therefore making it extremely difficult to comment on them '-)! However, I do have a new toy now from which this is the first posted render. Now for the questions? Wondering if anyone is having problems with VUE5 and scene size as I CANNOT seem to get it to handle anything over 100Mb in size and that's on my new 3.0GhZ/160GbHD/GiGRAM P4!! Finally ended up doing this image in VUE4 and what you see here is over 225Mb and my machine and the prog is running as if I had just started on it! Can't wait to be able to view all that I've missed, but in the meantime I'll just keep slow-by-slowly rebuilding my Poser and VUE libraries '-)!! ==steve==

I have no idea why you can run humongous files on Vue5--you should have been their beta tester!:-)) But as usual I love your take on the Old West and it's millions of polygons--nobody poses better than you--look at the linked hands of the trapper and the Indian maiden--wow!

hey steve sorry your having probs mate..a tip for your old machine is to reset your time clock to the proper date and time and then you will be able to view the gallerys..:)wonderful image by the way..loads of detail and action..as for vue 5 staying away from it at the moment the render times are horrendous..

Poser characters that actually look like real people. I think this is just outstanding in lighting, composition, and story. It really made me laugh. Well done!

An excellent detailed scene. Wonderful action. I just checked my largest Vue5 file. 420 meg. I have 2G RAM, which might help. I find with the large ones to sometimes save, exit, restart Vue and then render. Best of luck.

Is that Davy Crockett seducing the Pocahontas girl ? you know.. the day Tough Bill was kicked from the saloon by Barefoot Joe cos he said he sold stale ale.. John Wayne told me the story.. he was there chatting with Clint about his new six shooter. (can't remember the dog's name though.. was it old Rantanplan? ) Terrific archive image again Spid (good luck for solving the puter issue..)!

Is it you on your way out of the bar? An excellent scene again. Indeed, you managed it to create a very special mood with this sepia toned lights and atmos. Fantastic. Regarding the dynosaur. Have you checked the system clock? Maybe it still is set to prehistoric times, a reason why you can't see images. It was the problem on mine when i had a crash that even affected the system time and resets it to 1904.
