Description
A visual allegory illustrating the deep and hidden dangers of man's heedless pollution of his environment....
Nah, I'm just pulling your leg. Actually, I was watching "Finding Nemo" with the kids, and decided to model a WWII contact mine. It proved to be surprisingly difficult to find a good reference photo, so this is just an imaginary design. I also took the opportunity to try out some undersea lighting and textures.
Everything modeled, textured and rendered in Cinema 4D XL 7.3. The fish are from the C4D resource CD; everything else is mine. Enjoy!

Rofl...ok you got me,I've been throwing mines in the lake while I'm fishing because they're cluttering up my back yard...now some cad goes and throws in a pop bottle so that the anti pollution folk are now alerted (bet you didn't know they don't mind the mines,but drop in a pop bottle and all hell breaks loose).
