Description

And then suddenly we find ourselves on the very top of the Hohgant, 2197 m (7208 ft) high! Here we are, with free view all around! Time for chocolate, tangerine and a fresh drink! Little change in the higher atmospheric layers announce other weather. But today the weather is perfect, an ideal autumnal day! Enjoy yourselves here, it's quite safe here to stroll a bit around. Inhale the fresh air here, let the soft rays of the sun warm your skin a bit and absorb the panoramic vista! The white mountains on your left hand belong to the 'Blümlisalp' (3663 m, 12018 ft), the so called 'flowers mountain'. They mark the climate separation between the northern alps (here) and the southern alps. Minolta X-700 (Fuji Sensia 100, 28 mm) Thanks for your attention and your always valuable comments

I almost had to check that this was not a Mojoworld creation, Jan-Carel, but on closer examination, the detail is too natural, and the clouds have that transitory imperfection of Nature. Looking at it encourages me to take a few deep breaths, and be aware of the miracle of life itself. Thank you deeply for this image, John.

sigh the view is just exquisite; it's a misty dream-land!!! Top of Hohgant...well, it's just perfect!! a great place to jump off and go flying for sure, but i am quiet and reflective here. plops down, lies back, and stares out aat this spectacular view Letting of everything here...just breathing in God, soaking Him up like a sponge! sigh and those Flower Mountains...gotta see them closer! hope you'll take us there. Hey, in just a bit (after I'm done being lazy) we can all fly over there and take a peek!!!!! :) Doesn't get any better than this, Jan-Carel!!! vote! Hey, throw me choclats!

The space is so great there is no sense of exposure. Taking in all the ruggedness to create a time to complete the vision.

I once saw the Grand Canyon. I lost my breath and I almost fell to my knees. I couldn't talk. Tears filled my eyes. Did this feel that way? Bet it did.
