Description
This is my first post since August. College and work have kept me pretty busy, but I finally found the time to complete an image I started over the summer.
This image started off as an experiment with terrains and it just kind of grew from there.
The scene was modeled entirely with Bryce, the foliage produced with the Bryce Tree Lab. Gandalf's hat is made of metaballs and his staff is a series of boolean objects. The rest of Gandalf is actually just - one hair object, one trench coat (a Poser supplied piece of clothing), and one Poser hand.
Almost all of the textures were derived from the fantastic photographs available at www.mayang.com
Anyway, tell me what you think. Or don't. Whatever. :)
