Description

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is the image I referred to in my last upload "Mirrored Reflections". As you can see the "specks" were roped-up maintenance crew on the roof of the new Sage Music Centre at Gateshead Quays. This was taken through the span of the Millennium Bridge, and the lines are some of the suspension cables which assist the pivoting operation. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Those maintenance men must have Nerves of Steel! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Thanks for looking, and for any comments which I really appreciate. some how the grey day adds to the X/wow factor of the over all pix. nice capture, good use of the available lines and curves. is this a feek shot or do you know this area so as know what is available for the different conditions? thanks for including a piece of the bridge structure to help define the foreground lines.
Great capture Gordon! I like the fact you can see some of the interior balconies or levels through the glass. It must be quite a building inside! Looks like there is a great tall empty space behind those windows. The acoustics should be interesting!
This image is a a true masterpiece and an excellent idea... I'm really impressed. What you wanted to show is so "strong" and so well captured (especially with the black clouds on the bacground, they even accentuate the danger of the situation). CONGRATULATIONS!!! V
