And this is one of the pics I took before I got him cleaned up.

Body Art
I'm quite sure he smiled & muffled a giggle of glee thinking he'd get one over on his exhausted Mommy
straight to the living room and then to the desk getting right into what he does best (mischief!)
He first found a pen & then a marker, you see probably last used to label a CD
The cap was yanked off and he was set to begin not caring, or realizing the trouble he'd be in
He began with the desk and adorned it with curls with a black Sharpie marker he then worked on his swirls
Then up to the monitor he scrawled all over the screen (I confess, when I saw it I let out a small scream)
Then, I think he rationalized what he next chose to do some body art was in order "after all, Mom has a tattoo"
so using his left hand he drew on his face & then, perhaps that icky marker smell gave him a sense of distaste
so he moved on to his arm his shoulder, & torso happy to be drawing not thinking it could be a "no-no"
I'll give Torin credit I think his work had "a tribal look" & I am incredibly thankful that he didn't scrawl on my books
But when I awoke & first saw my young son he laughed as I cried & stifled a "Damn!" then I laughed & he cried as the clean up began

My boy did the same thing, except he also traced around the new wooden furniture. He also coloured in the keys on my keyboard so not being a touch typist I am now struggling. He didn't get to the walls fortunately. Part of the joys I suppose. Love the composition.

smiles Sometimes I miss being a child. All children seem to have an uncanny and unwitty way of just doing simple things and finding amusement. Remind me of me and my mom's red lipstick when I was around 5. LOL. Very nicely done.

What a cutie! The song lyrics, 'Superman..man, I love you Superman'! Can't wait to see the one with him in his cape. They are always keeping us on our toes, aren't they. Wait till he starts driving. ;) I woke early one morning, hubby still sleeping and I go to the kitchen to see my son on the phone, he was about 2. 'Say HI, mommy, say HI'! On the other end was a very kind elderly lady who was so sweet. 'Your little boy was so cute and just wanted to say HI'. He had been on the phone for almost an hour and the lady lived 2 time zones away....it was the middle of the night for her. lol Then the time that he let the 'kitty' in the house, happened to be a raccoon. My husband and I almost had heart failure. MORE pics of Torin, please! V

Well now. Methinks your son is as creative as his mommy? WINK. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree, no? -- Funny, superb piece. V

I think he'll be more creative than I am as my creativity was not encouraged when I was growing up...
