Description

The melting water of the glacier finds its way meandering to the lake. It fascinates me always again how dynamically nature finds ways, like the flowing water here. It's all mud here. You can walk on it without sinking away, it's quite solid and deposited all by the glacier over periods of many years. Muddy waters, yet sandy ripples. I like the ripples, and the hint of cold water, melted ice, Jan-Carel. I would love to walk through the melt water, and up onto the gravel slopes. Regards, John.
