Description

I snapped this photograph from a moving vehicle slowed down in Yangon traffic. I guess that being a Buddhist monk is technically more of a vocation than a career, but I was there in Myanmar for some work. Taken with a Fujifilm Finepix s602Zoom. Nothing exceptional, I just got extremely lucky that this even came out straight. Thank you very much for taking the time to look.

Now that's a quality picture of a snippet of life, where is he going? I have visions of this monk on an epic journey through the world, just passing through this area. Of course, he might just be out for a stroll. Lots of possibilities.

Now we know why you take your time with your products. I bet constructing 3d objects is tough when you're on the road in the middle of Asia... Still can't wait for the next project though...

Cool photo Moe, he is really timeless isnt he, he could just as interesting on an ancient street or Dystopia. Good reference photo too for how baggy foldy cloth should look.

I enjoy the contrast between the old and new subject matter (the ancient style clothing and modern bikes), as well as a contrast of colors. It makes this picture more interesting. Also, I enjoy the idea that one could make up a story from this picture.

The way he's peering around the corner, his face half visible is very interesting. Darkmagi makes a great point, he really is timeless. What is he seeing? Great work, my friend.

Very good work. I hope you take this as the complement it's intended as, but it looks like something you'd find on a CD of stock photography. Nicely framed, good colors, and it really captures a sense of time and place.
