Light programmer and professional 3D designer working out of Alaska.
I tend to be pretty extreme and enjoy sea kayaking, glacier skirting, freestyle mountain climbing, cross country cycling, as well as more solitary endeavors such as creative & technical writing, sound synthesis, and the various aspects of 3D design. Suck at sketching, though.
I've transitioned through several 3D programs over the years: starting with Rhino 2.0, then moving on to Cinema 4D, and currently working with Maya.

Very nice ship, from the design school of The Earth Alliance (Babylon 5) if I'm not mistaken. When can we see the ship in its native habitat?

Thank you for the wonderful comments everyone! :D @MarkHirst: I will try to build some attack ships taking this thing out on the edge of a blue planet just so I can experiment with photoshopping special effects. I can let you know when it's up of it you like. Again, thanks for the comments everyone! Sorry it took so long to get back to you :)

Very beautiful work........

Like the hard, black and white rendering and the detail. It could be anything really, couldn't it ;-) Which makes it all the more interesting!

Thank you again for the comments :) I'm sorry you don't like the model Reledom, but sometimes less is more. The commands you use to make a model have nothing to do with the quality of the modelling itself. If something can be done only using a few commands why bother making it more difficult for oneself? As for the software not being effectively used, I think that is open to debate. Whether or not the software is effectively used rests on if you are able to model what you set out to model, otherwise, tough luck. Still, I appreciate the comment, though unconstructive.

What an original design! I like how you added the midsection like an antennea array, very clever. Keep up the great work man.

Nice grand space opera ship. It looks like a skeletal fish in shape. Nice!

Thanks for your comments! :D @Z: I had originally built this with the idea of entering it into the CGTalk Space Opera challenge, but then I realized I had no idea how to texture it or render it, and so the idea was never realized. Since I've been experimenting with Cinema 4D though, perhaps it will be revisited soon.
