Description
It's been months since I last posted something in the gallery and I'm pleased to give you this space station. It started out as a challenge but I was never going to be able to finish it on time for the deadline but it was too much work to let go of. I made the starscape but made the planet using the Flaming Pear lunar cell plugin for Photoshop though the planet kind of sucked so I altered it with some more postwork in photoshop. Model was rendered in Rhinoceros 2.0. And yes, I know that with that much light in front of you with the planet those stars wouldn't be that visible however without them the image would be so much more drab that I decided to keep them in. Comments and suggestions welcome.

This is an excellent image. The atmosphere around the planet really does add depth to this piece. The models are Very well done. Excellent Job!!

Thank you for comments everyone, they are much appreciated :) @Cynlee: I have been slowly putting together some new models, unfortunately school is underway and right now is the point where the work load gets very crazy, so until break starts I'll have to hold off in favor of my studies :)

A classic and epic (lol) sci fi image! Thats one heck of a model you created and the planet below looks awesome! Nice idea to leave the stars in too - sometimes absolute realism doesn't look so good! Excellent work!!!
