This is the final version of my cloister image. Folks at Renderosity were really helpful in showing me how to tile a photo image onto a surface (it was driving me crazy-- getting it to work-- until they helped out!). Although I like many of the Bryce 5 mats, a photo mat is more interesting. If you look at Cloister 2 and 1, you'll see the progression. In this one, the stones walls are a photo mat, and roof has actual shingles from a photo mat (it's not that clear at this image size, but the shingles are there!) The marble columns are a marble photo with the "relief" done using a photoshop bevel trick. The floor is also made from a single marble tile (beveled in photoshop-- perhaps a bit much) and tiled onto the surface of the floor object. The tree is a true Bryce 5 tree (which looks better when the image is larger). The sky is standard Bryce 5. I post this image here just so you can see the progression from the original concept and how the suggestons of the Bryce 5 artists in this forum were so helpful. Many thanks to all!
