Description

Something a bit different... this was taken on the way to the Grand Canyon Area (Arizona) from Chino (California) aboard a small Cessna 210 about 9,500 feet above sea level. It was just me and the pilot, so I had a great view of all the mountains and various landscapes on the 2.5 hour flight. I'm not exactly sure where this was... I believe it was on the Arizona side. It was about 8am in the morning, and there was a cabin on the other side of the mountain that appeared to have quite a fire going (thus the smoke). Made for some very beautiful morning scenery. I snapped about 1,000-2,000 shots of just the landscape on the flight there and back alone! But very fitting for Christmas Eve. Now... I just wish I could be in that cabin! Image taken with a Canon EOS 300D Rebel D-SLR Camera (6.4 mp) with a 18-55mm lens (canon) and a Canon Circular Polarizer. I was shooting through the glass window on the side of the Cessna. Image resized (obviously) from the original in photoshop and give the border and watermark in photoshop. No other adjustments made.
