Description
In this, the second woodburning of The Pilgrim's Progress" Series by John Bunyan, Satan is attempting to extinguish the Fires of Grace by continually pouring large amounts of water on the flames. He will never succeed because what God sets about to do will be accomplished. Grace is like light...as it enters the darkness, it begins to fill every bit of space. every particule, every molecule. Satan's attempts are in vain unless we choose to let him in.
This is the continuing series of "The Pilgrim's Progress" by John Bunyan. I decided to do them all as woodburnings, so there will be some repeats along the way. The painting...referenced from the original illustration by George Woolliscroft, Frederick Rhead and Louis Rhead. They will not be in order as I first thought, at least not some of them.
God Bless you all! Keep fighting Vickey! I know we will keep praying!...Cheryl

Totally Fabulous work! What a nice talent you have! And wonderful presentation also! And no..nothing can remove the Grace of God because he gives it to us. We can take it or leave it if we choose. But I need it so I be taking it,lol! God Bless you Cheryl! And Bless our Lord Jesus! :) V
