Description

Here, Christian falls on his face at the Cross of Jesus...the place where all who call themselves Christian come to...the beginning of our salvation. Here at the Cross, our burden is lifted, Jesus takes it from us and we live free always basking in the Light of His glory and grace. (Heb 12:2) looking unto Jesus the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising shame, and hath sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. This is the continuing series of "The Pilgrim's Progress" by John Bunyan. I decided to do them all as woodburnings, so there will be some repeats along the way. The painting...referenced from the original illustration by George Woolliscroft, Frederick Rhead and Louis Rhead. They will not be in order as I first thought, at least not some of them. Oh Cheryl, this is really execellent, and I could say alot of things about meanings and a new way of looking at life and my faith, but this Bueatiful work of yours says it all for me. I belive with all my heart that God gave me my wife back, and is looking over her.Vickey stills has to live with these sezures but they are being controled very well, she has not had one in almost a week. She is home and doing better than should be expected of someone just out of 3 days in ICU. God has touched her in many ways, and your prayers and thoughts are a inspiration to her...Thank You and a big hug and a vote for this outstanding work.................John, Vickey and Stacy
