Very soul baring and insightful, the product of your experience. I was with a man on the East Coast for 10 years when I chose to move 1500 miles away, to my family home base. In the 2 1/2 years back home I have dated a few men and thought that one, who I had corresponded with before moving here, may actually be someone I wanted to spend time with....only problem, after too much alcohol he had a 'little problem'....my words to him 'you can fake an orgasm but you can't fake an erection'. ;) Thanks for writing this and good that you are happy now

It is a shame what people have to go through before they are truly happy. Such excellent description you use. I could read the desperation in there. And in answer to why cant men tell the difference; I think it is simply that we dont know and that most women from what I have read dont climax during intercourse, unlike men. We really a silly lot at times, far to much testosterone built into a mammoth ego.

I'm truly sad that you had such bad experiences with men, though I have to say that many of us can be as sensitive and perceptive as any woman, just as many women can be as cruel and boorish as the typical male stereotype. Aside from that I revel in the fact that we can all have our preferences.
