Description

This image will _storm_ the Hot20. ;-) If not, I would be surprised. I have reflective water, a cool sphere and great mountains put together to a masterpiece, inspired by the best of the Hot20. Dedicated to all the great works here which _really_ deserve to be presented in the Bryce showcase of the finest art. Take Care, Jimi

Well, it's not a shiny sphere, but that's offset by the great terrain work. Worth my humble vote

you got that right!!! looks like some of the typical images that make the top5 while the masterpieces of some of the best artists in the world can barely crack the top 20!!! just for the thought alone deserves a vote... i take that back, the finished render deserves a vote...

Sabi29: sure it's garbage, but that kind of garbage is presented in the Hot20 often. I'm just holding up a mirror to parts of the community... call it sarcasm or parody. :-)

Even if something is simple, yet shows imagination, it may be worthy of a vote. So don't pen me in, as the song goes. :)

You need not vent your anger by putting out trash like this. If you're jealous of images in the hot 20, try Brycing something good.

MoonGoat, you didn't understand the message. Jealous? No, more the opposite side of it. There should be more fantastic works in the Hot20, not shiny spheres and images produced in two minutes like that one above. wanders away shaking head :-)

These ridiculous pictures with their even more ridiculous comments have no place in a serious art community. And as for the usual arguements advocating 'the eye of the beholder', utter tosh, these people do not understand the least concept of what is art and what is not. Of course the colours are beautiful, colour is beautiful, but only when used with care, aforethought and subtlety. The crass use of fractal (fancy name for random patterns?) images as textures is derisible and yet the following hoards of passionate Philistines put their hands in the air, worship, and V. How pathetic is that? They really don't seem to realise that to put somebody on a pedestal for producing rubbish is not encouragement to greater heights of artistic achievement but encouragement to produce more rubbish!! What's the latest daub? Rainbow something or other, same comments, same adoration, same crap! And if that person is satisfied to produce more and more crap, fine, that's up to her. But please DONT display in an artists community, which not only derides that community's artists but also the Bryce program itself. There is another hundred and one places for personal displays of photos, pictures etc., where the adoring throng can go to fawn and pander. Im with you.
