Description

This is the last shot of the series on the Ballon d'Alsace. A little rivulet with streaming water draws my attention. It's remarkable but just above the surface of the streaming water some little grass has been the nourishing ground to grow ice-crystals. A few millimeters lower and the crystals touch the streaming water and they'll disappear! Minolta X-700 (Fuji Sensia 100, 70 mm) Thanks for your attention and your always valuable comments

Bye bye Ballon d'Alsace! It was fun visiting with you. This is a great shot Jan because it as if the ice were a leaving thing the way it feeds off the water. Amazing! Vraxor, go back and look at the other ones! ;o)

Magnificent macro shot, Jan-Carel. If only we have eyes to see... My eyes are generally not good enough, but you, thankfully do the seeing for the rest of us viewers. This is just so delicate and so fleeting. Thanks, John.
