Description

On our way home from the Vosges the highest elevation we reach is the Col de la Schlucht (1139 m, 3737 ft), the Schluchtpass. The frozen world shows here how winter still reigns here obviously. Minolta X-700 (Fuji Sensia 100, 70 mm) Thanks for your attention and your always valuable comments

First thing that hits me when i see this is that I'm looking at Niagra Falls!! LOL! Weird, i know, but this is just massive and for some reason, it comes across to me like rushing water!! Look at the top of the image and maybe you'll get the same feeling. Of course i can i tell that this is photo of snow covered trees but, i can stop seeing this one as "flowing!" I love the blue tones in the snow!! verrrrry beautiful winter scene you show us!!! A very powerful capture of this frozen/flowing world that leaves me feeling a bit dizzy as I look up!!! A very unusual and gorgeous capture!!!!!

An amazing scene. It is amazing the beauty that can be around us, taken for granted, especially when we're in a hurry and have to drive somewhere in the snow or ice. Thanks for sharing this beautify picture.

A slippery slope for sure. Fortuantely, we have a good guide to map the footing. The secret frozen world continues to amaze once access is not terminal.

Yes, Jan-Carel, it could be some frozen, arboreal Niagra or Victoria Falls. Magnificent. Regards, John.
