Description

Continuation of the Northern Territory Series; This is Australias largest bird of prey and one of the world largest Eagle species. It reaches up to 1.05m in length and has a wing span of about 2.3m. Females are usually larger than males reaching in average about 4kg. They can also soar to altitudes of up to 2000m. This was captured in the Territory Wildlife Park in the Northern Territory (Australia). Thanks for viewing, and as always comments welcomed.
