Description

After strolling around the ice of the Rhine we drove the car nearby Ouwehand's Dierenpark (Ouwehand's Zoo), where we saw this frozen fountain. Time to stop a moment and enjoy this collection of icicles! Minolta X-700 (Fuji Sensia 100, 70 mm) Thanks for your attention and your always valuable comments

This fountain is wearing a verrrrry icy coat!!!!! brrrrr! interesting that the water seems to still be flowing. and i'm curious about the foliage which seems to be growing in the midst of the snow and ice. any idea what it is? A wonderful capture with many textures that i love!

Wow, this is as an unusual a fountain as I have ever seen!! It looks like cotton candy. The white of the frozen fountains sets off so well against the azure blue sky! Marvellous picture!

It looks like Philippe's mammoth / mamut got frozen in the fountain, Jan-Carel. The 'horns / tusks' are only the branches nearby. Nature's little joke. Regards, as always. John.
