Description

Hi everyone, the Cataraqui Conservation Area is an area of inspiration for me and sometimes I just like to lay down on a carpet of, pine needles and look to the heavens. This is just what I did. Certainly gives you a different perspective. Thats the beauty of a slight glance in a new direction, it can help to make a difference in ones life thus the world. I'm really enjoying the talent here on Renderosity. Enjoy!!!

The perspective, the 60/40 (Golden) composition and dramatic lighting all enhance this very dramatic image. You can even turn this print 90 degrees clockwise and end up with even greater emphasis on height. As it appears now, the scene is more passive and pastoral like a good english poem. So what you have achieved Judith is an image that exhibits a dual identity depending on the artist/photographer final intent. Congradulations.

Now this is a great photograph. Reminds me of the days we'd be out in the woods all day. It wasn't too peaceful for us, if you were laying on your back usually something was about to fall on you. Glad to see that times have changed.
