Description

Mauna Ulu: Mauna Ulu began on May 24, 1969 and ended July 22, 1974. This eruption was the longest eruption on the East Rift Zone in Hawaiian volcano history until this latest eruption of Pu'u O'o. It had filled two Pit Craters, changed the landscape of Hawaii dramatically and added land to Hawaii. Mauna Ulu had sent lava over 1,800 ft into the air. Aloha and thank you for viewing
