Description

As curator of this gallery, I have decided to pull the remaining two images of the previous series. To learn the reason why, please see 'Stapled, Nailed and Screwed' as for my reasoning towards the bottom of the comment section. After an evening of another rainstorm the morning was nothing more than a heavy overcast. It was not until mid-afternoon did things change. So today and tomorrow I share with you a magnificent moment that we experienced yesterday afternoon and it lasted only forty minutes before its splendor faded from view. For geographical purposes, I am standing and facing the west towards the west. The darker hill portion is covering the city of San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge. The remainder of the hills across the bay we find the areas of Marin and Novato. Thank you for stopping by Vielen dank das Sie vorbei gekommen sind Merci de votre visite Grazie Obrigado Dank u Takk De Please feel free to leave your comments in your native language Bitte f

How could I have missed this!!! I've always been a fan of darkened tones, and this is the kind of print I love to see. perfect tonal work, and the broken reflections are magical. Excellent =)

I was born in San Francisco and my aunt lived in Novato, we used to visit her and pick nuts from her trees, we were so little but I loved going to her country house! We used to go to my uncle's cabin at the Russian River too, and feed the ducks in Golden Gate Park. Happy memories! :)

I don't know if you darkened this image on purpose? But I like the effect! The higher contrast, really draws out the reflection of the clouds in the water. Reminds me a little of A. Adams work. Well done, very dramatic!
