As of April 1, 2006, CameraObscura will continue to feature B&W images but in addition colour photographs, since it will bring to a close but not delete any images at 'camera2' which before featured only and all colour images. While the 'Egmont' gallery remains active for dedications and other forms of art outside of photography.
I wish to thank all those who not only commented at camera2, but also added it to their favorite gallery. Thank you so very much for your support.

This is enchanting. It's quite very much like this here in RI as well.... In fact this sort of thing is an invitation to me, to go forward and see just what it is that I'm not supposed to.... trespassing or not. As far as too light/too dark it looks perfect to me..... but that being said my monitor is properly calibrated.

Why do the man is always so violent... and crazy ! A gate in a forest is really a pity ! Violation of what ???? it's really a perfect shot, the place is enchanting and I like the light of this shot. Thank you too for your technical details, I've got a Mac too and will try to see the settings of my gamma. Have a nice night.

That is a very contraversial topic! the native Americans could not understand ownership of the land, when they were approached by the "White man", who wished to buy their land, they would reply "You can not own the mountains, or the river, or the sky!" It is rather silly. But I could tell you stories from "The other side of the fence" ; ) Excellent topic & image!
