Excellent PoV and surfaces (very realistic). Great sky, lighting and atmospheres. You could consider a rerender in a higher resolution and sharpen/downscale this for more details.

I agree that a sharper / larger render would do this more credit - great lighting and surfacing. Postworking some contrast in as well might show off the surfacing even further. Good work.

The view past the crags to the peak is dramatic! Agree with the comments about post-enhancing.

Thanks everyone. I like it to. I tried a few times before to use textures insted of procedural, but the coloration was always lost. Played around with contrast and brightness. BTW this is a "SO" plugin i used. The hardest part is the terrain size. 14000x14000 sqare meter. Makes even big textures tile to mutch. So i use a lot of textures and blending between them with differant noise filters. I use seven texture layers and one procedural (Snow). Johan Sae-Thao

Very origional Rainier work. I haven't seen a render from this point of view on this terrain. I disagree with the others about the postwork, it has it's own special mood with the current colours and contrast.
