Description
After a long week at work we can all imagine relaxing in a place like this!
Made with Vue 5 Esprit
No Postwork
A study in realistic lighting, using Global Radiosity lighting.
Using procedural terrains for a total of only just over 900,000 polygons in the whole scene with around 450,000 of those in the poser model.
Some complex textures were made, particularly to blend the sand and water.

Lovely. Such a warm, peaceful feeling this image has. The woman in the foreground is a little too perfect to be real, and the mountain in the distance doesn't look quite right. (I think it would look more natural to have more ocean there.) Other than that, it could be a photograph. I love the textures of the rock, sand, and water.

Thanks for the honest critiques, i only put the background mountain and poser figure in at the last moment as the scene looked too empty. Prehaps it would be better without them?
