Description

Hi everyone! Long time no see!! I know this is fairly unusual compo, however, I loved the background colours so much that I could not bring myself to re-crop the image. This is my personal crop, originally there was more greenery to the right of the fly. Oh well, for me this photo is more about colour than compo (that is probably the case in all my work actually). But as most of you have seen, I regularly throw the rule of thirds out the window! Down with convention! I cant wait to have a look through all your galleries today, seeing as I've been missing for a while. Hope everyone is well! Have a lovely weekend =)

Wow! And this little guy didn't fly away. The color green really stands out with the darker background. And with that macro fly, Beautiful. Hmmm...I best read about the rules of 3? Not sure how that works? Glad to see you back and well. Aloha

If you would have cropped out the background, we wouls not have the dynamic ballance and tension created between the fly and the background. This crop also demonstrated the 40/60 golden rule. :~)
