Description

First, let me introduce myself. My name is Ginny, and I am a writer, have been for years. I follow no particular style, as I have until about 6 weeks ago, written with the knowledge that only I would see my writing. Thought to paper, with no consideration for grammar, punctuation, or format. The only people to see my writing

Ginny, You and your writings are gifts as well! So many times in my life, had it not been for someone who was willing to listen to me,(sometimes even someone I didn't know), I wouldn't be here. I have lived with the memories of physical, emotional and sexual abuse as well! I have fought suicide most of my adult life! I can really identify with everything you have posted. It is like looking into a mirror! It amazes me! Knowing you, even at this point, only slighthly, has helped me. I know that my childhood was not unique only to myself and my siblings, but many others, far too many. No matter how disheartened we become, we do have to continue the uphill battle! If we don't THEY WIN! Tomorrow is the 10th anniversary of my father's death. It is always a hard time for me. He died without us ever having resolved any problems, so there was no closure for me. I am 54 years old, he's been gone for 10 years, and he still reaches beyond the grave and effects my life. Thanks for your writings! Leanndra

Ginny, what you say is so true.. In a way, we all come here looking for fairies! Fairies of different kinds, for even the things that are real can often, as you have described, disappear like a whisp into thin air, and in so doing, become no more than one of those fairies! I am amazed that people can be so vicious towards one another, especially here, where this is very much against policy in any case! But some people don't care! And then it's no wonder that we, who wear our masks, will not allow those others to peer behind them lest they do us further and deeper damage. But in opening up just a little, we do discover we are not alone... Thank you so much for your contributions, they are VERY precious!

Dear Ginny, In the case of Renderosity, Marshall McLuhan's words are dead wrong - The medium is NOT the message. On the surface, Renderosity is an online art gallery, but what is it REALLY about? Anyone that stumbles upon my gallery will certainly find no art there the medium of my images is not the message. What they will find is arms open for friendship. That is the real message of Renderosity World. Forget counting visits, votes, and comments the only count that matters is the number of friends made. I too have had friends that have left and I think its because they focused of the Art and forgot the Friends of this place. And yes, there are people, ARTISTS I would presume, that say some pretty awful things down on the comment lines. My favorite comments are the ones that start with, Did you hear the one about the blond that because those words are instantly going to put a smile on my face not only because Im waiting for the punch line, but because a friend and I are having fun together. The things we see and hear at this place can be funny, touching, enlightening, tragic, and thought provoking sometimes all at once but the real message is the friendship, love, and support that we all provide for one another. And perhaps Renderosity really is about art because a good friend is the greatest art of all! Love, Meredith

Ginny a beautiful artist as angel indeed for you know the power of words, as they can be blades that maim and hurt others or they can be tools utilized by the spiritual nurses of the world healing the soul. Nurses as we know them often care for those wounded, hurt physically in one way, or another. Our souls are our life force that can and do promote physical healing to us also, it keeps us keeping on and when it is wounded it bleeds out, through our art, actions and so on as it is often evident when someone's soul has been wounded or slashed open to bleed out here at Renderosity. Therefore, angels the nurses of the soul I often find come out of hiding gathering around to heal that individual or assist with the healing process You darling Ginny I watched come out wings wrapping around the wounded, your halo glowing bright, not a fallen angel at all yet one that brightened my world as I am sure others also. I also have seen others like you, as I watch too, and all are a gift and gifted healing the wounded so we all might continue to live in the light becoming that of what we seek happiness, peace, acceptance, and love. Thus, when you get down and find your soul wounded also as we all do from time to time. I amongst others here as elsewhere whom have spoken or sit silently watching will be there warming, strengthening and lending our selves our time, energy and words, our lives real in honesty, all sharing healing a hurt human worldas you with open arms. In addition I would like to say thank you too for you are indeed an angel of great healing and I am honored to have met you here myself, you have brought so much sunshine into my life, warmth and renewed energy as well as spiritual healing with your real human self mask off growing learning brilliant words. Sometimes angels hide too and dawn armor also just a fairies do as they move on, eventually they come back checking on those in needno worries these artists you speak of shall return and HUGS GinnyI see your wings and they are glorious, as I sit in awe to their magnificence today. We all NEED each other human to human and spirit to spirit.

Hi Ginny! Your words are very true and well spoken and definitely from the heart! I believe all of us have something to offer the community in one way or another, and it's sad to believe there are people on the site only to be a menace and spiteful out of their own frustration. I haven't seen much of that since I signed up in November 2004. Mostly what I have experienced is fantastic artwork, great people, and a very strong bond between artists that seems to get stronger ever week. I'm so honored to hear your words and sentiments regarding my work, as well as everyone here! This is something can get to be a bit personal, and some take it to heart very easily. If anything, I have seen people leave simply because they don't adhere to the TOS and don't particular care for the staff due to isolated incidents that make them feel alienated and dejected. One thing I must say is that this community has a very supportive user base, the best around, and I have never felt anything like this from any other medium. I say let the good times roll, keep the fabulous art coming, and let's all be friends and live happily ever after! These are my dreams coming true, as well, and I never want it to end, nor shall I let it willingly! Thanks so much for your kindness, comments, and sentiments regarding the community, Ginny! Excellent work on creating some awareness!!

I am glad that you feel we are an arena that you can show your work off. And I do mean show it off, you are after all entitled to do so. Take care Ben

Well beyond when we're trying to cut one anothers throats (lol) this is indeed a great place to spend time.I came here by accident because the 3d sites aren't well represented outside its own realm and like you caught the bug...but I went in for the art and tried to come at this from the hardest way possible so I could learn it easier.Glad to see ya onboard and hope your writing skills get recognition around here:)
