courage to change what can,
and wisdom to know the difference.
— Reinhold Niebuhr. This shot is an illustration of one of the many (little) disappointments we can have when shooting on location. It had intended to shoot the tree with blossoms against the blue (partly clouded) sky with a glimpse on the lake. Lowering my POV the tree was perfect but the lake disappeared. And standing on my toes the blossoms appeared in front of the trees on the background. Hmmm. Going to the left the lake disappeared, going to the right the tree destroyed the composition. Drawing closer was better for the lake, but the blossoms came in front of the trees again. Taking more distance made the lake disappear. Trying some combinations didn't help either. Long story, but this was the best I could make of it. It's just a demonstration that even with a lot of time we cannot always succeed in what we want, but please feel free to make a suggestion of something I overlooked! Wow, what you went through for this one shot. For what it is worth, I still think it came out wonderfully. :)
