'Fiberous Remnants of Old Leaves' Duo-tone ~ April 15, 2005 Comments: On my way to the dynamite factory for more photographs, I pass numerous palms along a slough. Having always kept one eye on the road and the other on these grouping of palms, I decided that today a closer look was warranted. Those who have 'Egmont' on their 'favorite artist' list, please note that the 'CameraObscura' gallery will now be its main focus of my photographic work. Technical Information: CAMERA: Sony DSC-V1, Aperature priority setting to f-8, ISO100, EV -.07, Tripod LIGHT: Natural PHOTOSHOP NOTES: Adjustment in Contrast, Levels and Curves. Conversion to B&W in Channel Mixer/RGB mode. Gaussain blur applied at Fade 35% Multiple. Duo-tone settings have curve alterations and the secondary colour is R151/G132/B115. The duotoneing is beautiful in this..... I love the chaotic structure of this image, yet it is soothing too..... wonderful!
