From the clue you left in the forum, I see this as being about her putting up with her lot (a less-than-perfect relationship) and being miserable in the process. She's content to "let the grass grow under her feet", in this case from her hair as she stays put, fed up. She's making a lifetime of procrastinating about whether to leave him and move on, or not, hence the title! Beautiful work on her creased face, her hands, her hair and the scene in general. As usual, thought-provoking and engaging hugs :-)

Following that previous painting with the cactus man, this really tells a long story. It is a marvellous painting Titta, done with skill, insight and humor. Her face is so expressive, and the flowers and spiderweb tells the rest. WOW!!!

What an excellent painting! The distortion of the woman's face only becomes more pronounced as time passes by. I presume that eventually she will stop wallowing in self-pity and begin a new and better chapter in her life. The past is for learning and the future is for applying those lessons. Excellent art. V

This is so expressive & really does tell so much of a story & like a moment captured from any story it opens up many possible interpretations. I love the way you painted her face, such sad resignation yet I see those flowers as a symbol of hope growing from her weariness of living a life of dusty memories. I can also see the flowers as a symbol of the bride that never was, gathering dust but living on in her mind! Excellent work & a wonderful addition to the theme ; )

You're right, just think of all the football she's missed on the telly while sitting there brooding; beautifully expressed despondency, the spider and web is a great touch.
