Everywhere people with camera's find their way in this world to make their shots. I like the art of taking realistic pictures, because it provides a way to show how I experience this world. It is a way for other people to look through my eyes.Nature ... exists primarily for her face, her look, her appeals to the heart and the imaginationGeorge MacDonaldJan-Carel Vierbergen
Picture courtesy of Ruut WegmanBIOIt is all in the family: love for hiking in the nature. Since my childhood I'm used to walk with father, brothers, cousins, etc., and take pictures (Minolta X-700 with 28-70 mm and 100-300 mm zoom) of what I see. I grew up in Ede (The Netherlands), studied Electrical Engineering in Eindhoven and I am working now as Coordinator e-learning at the Christelijke Hogeschool Ede (http://www.che.nl) where I implement digital assessments for students and assist students in DTP and creating websites.
Since I know little about photographing as well as computer science it was not difficult to find ways for putting images on the web. The only thing to look for now is to find ways for showing the slides in a convenient way. I tried already something at http://www.che.nl/users/jcv (Dutch only, click at Dia's van de natuur in Nederland en de Alpen), but this platform provides good means to share my pictures with others.
I hope you enjoy this!

Once there was a audiotechnician who may or may not have been a veteran. He was moody and wore ugly glasses with fisheye lenses. In a swap he ended up with a dark beauty who was the best cook and child care supervisor and moved to Lake Arrowhead in the mountains to set up concert ventures leaving a noisy job at Long Beach Marine Stadium promoting hydroplane and flatbottom drag boats with his public address working for the city. I know the story only because it was where I had to bring my fists into play to defend the children like some BankofAmerica small world Disney set. Soon I was taking posies from the backyard to decorate the table of the hairdreeser who had replaced hair spray with the blow dryer. It was all so light and stereotype with her boyfriend who was a psychologist.

Good picture, sharp and rich with detail. A slightly different Point of view might have improved composition. The rocks in the background add nothing to the image, I would consider cropping them out.
