Description

Springtime is the best time to visit the forests where the leaves in the trees are still being formed and lots of light still reach the forest-soil where wildflowers can profit by that light. Soon the trees will bear their suits of leaves, covering the forest-soil with shadows. I start in Beatenberg at 1050 m (3445 ft) and enter the forest by going down a little. Here lesser (or common) periwinkle (Vinca minor) covers the area guarded by some dandelions. Minolta X-700 (Fuji Sensia 100, 50 mm) Thanks for your attention and your always valuable comments

Once there was a audiotechnician who may or may not have been a veteran. He was moody and wore ugly glasses with fisheye lenses. In a swap he ended up with a dark beauty who was the best cook and child care supervisor and moved to Lake Arrowhead in the mountains to set up concert ventures leaving a noisy job at Long Beach Marine Stadium promoting hydroplane and flatbottom drag boats with his public address working for the city. I know the story only because it was where I had to bring my fists into play to defend the children like some BankofAmerica small world Disney set. Soon I was taking posies from the backyard to decorate the table of the hairdreeser who had replaced hair spray with the blow dryer. It was all so light and stereotype with her boyfriend who was a psychologist.

Good picture, sharp and rich with detail. A slightly different Point of view might have improved composition. The rocks in the background add nothing to the image, I would consider cropping them out.
