Description
Hello everyone! This is a pic I've been sitting on for a while.I'm just not sure it's done....I was considering doing selective coloring on it but am having some trouble with that.(I'm such a newbie to photoshop!
This pic is of my camera-hogging daughter, Meg,when I went down to the beach in Florida for some water shots. She would not get out of the way!I like something about this image though. It has a 'feel' I like.Hope you like it,too. But I'd welcome all your suggestions for improving it as well.
Thanks for all your wonderful comments on American Egrets! So happy to have made so many of you laugh.Every time you laughed, I laughed again with you. What a great day that was!
(PS putting A.E. in the Horror section was an accident. But when I saw that that had happened I cracked up even more!)
Have a GREAT WEEKEND ALL!!!!!!!-Marlene

I imagined her mental scene. I think that it is because it is a mono-color perhaps. Nice shot!

LOL, yup placing A.E in the horror section was nothing other than a stroke of genious!!! Gorgeous photot this is, love how its composed. With Meg slightly offcentered to the right like that, it really brings it all together if you know what i mean. I like the widescreen feel to it with that crop you made. And the frame is oh so classy and goes so perfect with this one. The photo is somewhat grainy, but sometimes that only adds to the overall (isnt that something mechanics wear? Is it spelled overwhole...stupid swede..wheres my dictionary) effect...and it sure works SPLENDIDLY for this one. I think you did the right thing to keep it B/W and not do selective colouring on it...wouldnt have worked out at all in this one. Ooops..sorry...seems like im leaving another looooong comment..so to sum it up...you hoped that wed like it? Im sorry, i dont.....I LOOOOOOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! Have a wonderful weekend with the family #:O)

ah....Marlene...this is FABULOUS!!! I do so much love the photo...has a "feel" to it as you said. she's just standing there looking out, and i wonder what she's thinking. is she having thoughts about her boyfriend? about college? about her future life as an adult? or maybe she's just enjoying the view for what it is. what a special capture, Marlene!!!!! and i think b/w was the perfect choice!
