Born in Hilo, Hawaii and class of '66, I became very active in Barbells, Judo and love striking the heavy/speed bag. I've learned to Rollerblade and bike ride which is a very health sport. But time doesn't stop for anyone including for me. So my good friend Dave aka punaguy got me started in taking pictures. I'm having fun taking pictures especially hiking the mountains. looks like ole' ironsides! must be a lot of iron oxide there. I think with the sun it would be better but still an excellent view

I had talked to the ranger up on Mauna Kea about this Red Hill and he said that it did have a lot of iron there. That Red Hill mountain is not very high in altitude (approx 9,000 ft elevation level max). Thanks for asking
