VERY interesting compostition and a title that really got me thinking. We often think that by moving through one door and leaving the past behind, we have opened ourselves up to new possibilities and removed our limitations. But as you say, in our new "room" we are still limited by the floor, ceiling and walls. Windows give tantilizing glimpses of other realities, but we are held back by the glass. Only by going through many doors and exploring every "room", can we truly come to know what is best for us and find our place in the world. There is more I want to say but it is hard to express so will leave it at that. I really like how you composed the doors within the frame, the repetition and recession help illustrate your point.

Dear Kort AKA: TwoPynts. Sometimes it is easier for a person to write about someone elses photograph than of ones own. Case in point. There were so many things wanted to express but just not found the right words and in the end felt less was more. So I thank you for framing the vision I wanted to share through your sensitive and emotional expressed feelings. Thank you dear friend.

can't help but think of the saying, "as one door closes, another opens"... & life goes on, we can set the doors aside & rejoice in the journey & be happy we survived... the gradient of light & texture is what grabs me here... your vision is a gift :]

This photo shows almost exactly what I've been going through the past 2-3 years now. I am going through many doors to find myself, and to express that in my artwork. Excellent work, and I know B & W is quite difficult to do, and you have excelled in it.

You found the perfect image to illustrate your thought, once more. And by reading the comments of the ones and others, I see that you ace not only succeeds in transmitting to us what you think, and what you feels. But also with touching each one among us. We have all doors to cross, and interior universes to explore. This series of photographs is really an interior journey, and a succession of incredible emotions. Like was the series of Michelle on childhood. A remarkable work Egmond. I feel close to you. Hugs. Nathalie
