oh - wow... this is an wonderful image, dear cassie... i love it... especially as the tulips are not thaaaat fresh... ;) oh - wonderful blossoms and your subtle coloring...! amazing! i really love what i see here...! stunning... based on all the curves in here... could fit into the 2D monthly theme in some way... blossom curves... - anyway - thank you sooo much...! a great gift and it made my day... and - well funny incident that i also were working on pink tulips... :D hugs & love

Absolutely stunning Cass! The way you've captured the beautiful curves of the petals is amazing & I love the colour, from the most vibrant to most subtle shade of pink perfectly set off by the blues. Excellent work, I'm sure this is going to take pride of place on someone's wall very soon! ; )

I like the nameless softness here...!!!! The colours, complementing each other soo perfect... just wonderful! And somehow the pistil looks like a little creature, sitting there and feeling just confident in its blossom-home... But thats just my strange view... ;-) Gorgeous work!!! vote

Very beautifulhugs They look so soft and full, I think those are the prettiest tulips I've ever seen:D They're sort of like clouds, billowing in the breeze. The center is delightfully spidery. I wish I could see the full sized version in person - with those dimensions, it must be very impressive!

Another beautiful, wonderful images. I definately agree with the comparisons to Georgia O'Keefe. And the wonderful thing is that it's not too pink, the subtler hues very reminiscent of S Morgenstern's early 'purple-hued pink tulips' phase that he is so famous for. Beautiful shading on canvas, Cassie sweetie! hugs Though it's mostly pink it doesn't feel like it's been confined to just one particular hue, and I love the lighter pinks more than dark ones anyway. It's even got a depth and a texture like feel to it... curse my screen for being flat! I shall have to settle with feeling it with my eyes instead.
