Description

More wild primroses! The oxlip primrose (Primula elatior) likes places with enough moisture. When the sun shines the flowers seem like little lights on the meadows, attracting my attention shouting, 'here I am! look at me!' So well, I could have put this one under the category 'Glamour' :) Minolta X-700 (Fuji Sensia 100, 70 mm & little crop) Thanks for your attention and your always valuable comments

I like the look of the dirt, black with humus and wet with the melted snow. It takes on character outlined by the sharply focused wrinkles of the leaves. Then it blurs a bit as the gaze rises to the upper blooms and the dirt is somewhat gray.

Awe, they look so pretty to say the least. That soil make them stand out even more than if they had been surrounded by green grass. Well seen and excellent capture. Have a most terrific weekend #:O)

Beautiful... in my opinion this is the one and only classical primrose. The one I loooked at when I was a bit younger than today.
