Description

It's still early spring on these heights. With every 100 meters (330 ft) we ascend summer is about one week shorter (so there is an elevation where summer never exists, where 'eternal snow' starts). Fortunately the sun-exposed slopes get still warm enough in summer to make flowers bloom on unexpected places. Sorry to be far behind with comments in your wonderful galleries - I had computer-crashes both at work and at home :( and it makes me wonder, is life that improved with all that technological stuff? Well, yes, else we had never met probably but we've grown a bit too dependent perhaps.... Enjoy your weekend! Minolta X-700 (Fuji Sensia 100, 28 mm) Thanks for your attention and your always valuable comments

mmmmm...gorgeous!!! Having just come home from a trip to the swedish mountains i can relate to what youre saying about belated spring. Nevertheless, that makes for a pretty darn beautiful photograph. Gorgeous scenery taken at the perfect angle. Well done indeed!!! Have a great weekend #:O)

What a perfectly beautiful photo of all these gorgeous, colourful, little flowers, showing such contrast to the more rugged terrain behind.

Life flourishes everywhere...Excellent shot & POV! I agree that we have become too dependent on computers...but ridding ourselves of them would almost certainly set us back to the stone-age..well..almost!!! :)

Wow!! Awesome view! Do those flowers actually grow wild in the alps? (They have to be planted carefully around my parts to have any chance of yielding flowers...). Excellent photo!!

This is fabulous. The trampled look with the blooms emerging so innocently is direct.

We are not "a bit too depended", dear! We just felt in a total addiction with technology and we are just slaves now!!! But how could we discover all your amazing landscapes, without it??

Great shot with crocuses sticking up out of the brown grasses, and the Alps in the background! I like the way the one clump of purple flowers stands out. Nice perspective :)

Breathtaking and beautiful! I would love to lie amongst them, as long as there was a space big enough so I didn't spoil them! But maybe it would be too cold to stop for long!!!!!!
