Description

Perspective. Composition. Opportunity. Some of those elements that make difference. With so many wild crocuses (incredible, so many crocuses together) I have the opportunity to change the background. Yesterday's Saxettal 5 was almost the same, and though so different! So I decided to compose another shot with a different perspective. Here you see the result. What do you like more, this one or yesterday's one? I look forward to your personal insights! Minolta X-700 (Fuji Sensia 100, 28 mm) Thanks for your attention and your always valuable comments

Wonderful scene! If I could have any composition I wanted, I'd have the slope go the other way (Bottom left to top right). But the real world isn't like that, and this is a beautiful picture. Well done!

Now that the beauty of the foreground is established one can look beyond to the miniature that is the background. I like how the ridge curves around high above the lake and then I am distressed at how the dark green tree wedge (upper left)is just that. Actually I have ignored all those things and am thinking, "That's the runway I have to lose a lot of energy to touch down precisely on the mark invisible under the shoulder ahead." Now is when a Harrier is ideal.

Hooray, what a POV! Sharpness from the very first millimeter to the infinity! Superb motif!

I like this one even more... there's a fantastic depth in this composition! An impressive shot of this amazingly beautiful landscape! Me thinks if you go for the crocuses the previous shot was better... but if you go for the scenery this one makes it for me. Just my humbled opinion. v*****

This is a fabulous capture but if i have to choose...definitely the OTHER ONE!!!!!! First, i don't see the wind in the grassy slopes in this one like i did in the other. And in this one, the runway kinda ruins the scene IMHO. I dunno, i liked it better when i didn't see the signs of civilization. i also liked the crocuses better in the other one too! Still, this one is a wonderful image, Jan-Carel, with a gorgeous view; i just like your other perspective better! :)

another magnificent and impressive capture! but I like the one from yesterday most! die Krokusse von gestern msen sich nicht vor den majestischen Bergen verstecken! Sie sind gleichwertig in ihrer Schheit! Heute treten die Blumen in den Hintergrund, weil der Blick vom See und der wunderschen Aussicht angezogen wird! ;o)
