Description

Tomorrow I want to start a new series about photography. Year after year I've collected some experiences that made me skilled as I am now and there's still a lot to be learned yet! Today I post this one. It's about timing. Sometimes there's something we call 'luck'. I was so fortunate to stand right in the line of the sun and this balloon drifting slowly precisely between me and the sun. Just wait with my camera and telelens and *click* there ya go! When I developed the film the lady who helped me asked me for a free print behind the show-window, something I could not resist! :) Minolta X-700 (Agfa CT 100, 300 mm and 2X teleconverter)

Thanks for explaining the image - it looked like some sort of UFO at first! It's not only timing, but also patience that gets you shots like this :)

Excellent timing and interesting what you can do with your telelens. Fantastic shot of capturing the sun and balloon, a seemingly impossible shot for me. Thanks for sharing. Aloha
