Description

was necessary to get this photo. I was sitting on the edge of a small bassin with water-plants, when this Dunnock (Prunella modularis) time by time fluttered all around me. But each time I was ready to take a photo, people or other birds came along. Well, I can be very stubborn and I just wanted this birdy, so I waited, complained, pleaded and implored - until suddenly the Dunnock sat down just a few meters away, looking over the shoulder and I could catch this moment for you. ;o) Thx for all the nice comments on my earlier photographs and for hints and critics on my first Poser/Vue-work, I'll remind them at my next scene (Jaguar in rain forest, still working on it).

WAY TO GO !!!!!! You hung in there and look what you got !!! You are sooo lucky!!! I wish I had just half that luck .. or is it TIME!? Time, yes .. I need more time. :( This bird is gorgeous -- we call those 'sparrows' here .. I've taken so many pictures of them, but NONE of them turned out good ... you have renewed my inspiration. :))))) :)...))) !!

@ tizjezzme: no-no-no... "sparrows" are quite another species!!! ("Sperlinge" or "Spatzen" in Germany) They look similar, but they're not the same! :o)
