Description

Elaborating on the rule of thirds we can distinguish strong points there (like Philippe mentioned them yesterday), close to where the separating lines of thirds vertically and horizontally cross. Imagine this shot without the green top of the Jenner (1874 m, 6148 ft), the image would be rather dull in that case. Thanks for your attention and your always valuable comments Minolta X-700 (Agfa CT 100, 70 mm and slightly cropped)

I really like this, there's so many guide-lines to lead your eyes around the picture. ...and I'm trying to work out if this is a crop of 'Composition 1' or a different photo taken at the same time/place.

Stunning! I like the stark contrast between the shale, which seems to resemble death; and the green mountians and water which seem,s to resemble life!

I thnk the point of this shot is the poor footing and the fragmentary nature of the immediate position. The rude pointing up to the right is the consequence. Hang onto your hat and the tripod in the wind. Let's not lose you to some mere lake in the clouds.
